One thing is for sure: there will be both good and bad reviews about everything, including Pure, one of the most famous nightclubs in Vegas.  I’m not trying at all to say this is the gratest club ever or to say it’s a bad choice, not worth your money. This is up to you to decide. So to make it easy I thought I would list pros and cons. Here they are:

PROs:

  1. It has been named the No. 1 Club in the Country by E! Entertainment, the top Las Vegas club by America Online, Las Vegas Review Journal, Las Vegas Weekly and Las Vegas Citylife.
  2. It has an impressive list of DJs who represent the best of both coasts, including resident DJs DJ AM, Grandmaster Flash, DJ Hollywood, Mark Ronson and Mix Master Mike.
  3. It has introduced PURE Tuesdays, a night reserved for locals (free admission!!!).
  4. It is divided into 3 different rooms, each with different DJ’s, sound systems and styles: upstairs there’s a Terrace with a panoramic view of the Strip; located just off the main entrance hall is the Red Room, a VIP haven secluded from the main club – and often separated by velvet ropes – which offers its own bar and VIP restrooms. The main room also has a VIP area,  raised  right above the dance floor. Then there is the Pussycat Dolls Lounge, of course.
  5. It’s upscale, trendy, good place to socialize, spot celebrities.

CONs:

  1. It is pricey: $40 for men to get in, $20 for women; a lot more if you want a private bungalow on the roof. The VIP service really pricey, if you want a table and a bottle is gonna cost you way over $400;
  2. In a busy night the lines are going to be huge, so you’re in for a several hour wait.
  3. It’s very crowded inside, you can barely move or dance; the dance floor is small and doesn’t allow you to show off your moves.
  4. The drinks are very expensive, even if you’re thirsty and just want bottled water you’ll have to get $7 out of your pocket.
  5. Not a good club for relaxing, dancing, having a nice night out with your friend without too much hustle.

Well, you decide what kind of clubbing you’re in the mood for….if you’re willing to spend some money and maybe wait in lines for hours. For sure PURE is one of those things in Vegas you just have to see, at least once…
