Halloween Cocktails

Halloween is around the corner, so I thought to post some interesting Halloween cocktails that you can try out or have your bartender make for you.  If you are a cocktail waitress or bartender, you might want to surprise (and scare boohoohooo)  your customers with this original recipes:     

          

Vampire’s Kiss

  • vodka
  • dry gin
  • dry vermouth
  • tequila
  • pinch of salt, tomato juice
  •                    

    Nightmare

  • Gin
  • Dry Vermouth
  • Cheery Brandy
  • Orange Juice
  •                  

    Devil’s Poison

  • Jack Daniels
  • Bacardi Rum
  •          

    Jack O’Tini

  • Stoli vodka
  • pumpkin puree
  • lemon juice
  • orange juice
  • Place a large soup pot filled with water on the stove to boil. Carve the tops from the pumpkins and set aside. Scope out the interior and seeds, leaving a think shell. Discard the seeds and flesh, or use in another recipe. Place the pumpkins in the boiling water and boil for about a minute. Remove and drain. Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Strain into the pumpkin. Serve with a black straw.

                  
    Jack-O-Lantern

  • Dark Rum
  • Pumpkin Molasses
  • chilled coffee
  • splash Kahlua
  • Garnish: Ginger bread cookie

                    

    Ghost Cocktail

    • Smirnoff Vanilla Twist
    •  Half and Half
    • Simple Syrup
    • Godiva White

    Garnish: white chocolate shavings

    Zombie

  • lemon juice
  • dark rum
  • orange juice
  • cherry brandy
  • light rum
  • dark rum
  • grenadine
  •              

    Corpse Reviver

    • apple brandy
    • Cognac or brandy
    •  sweet vermouth

    Blue Devil 

    • 1 shot gin
    • 1/2 shot blue curacao
    • 1/2 shot lemon juice

    Have I scared you yet? Boooooooooooohooo!
