Writing more frequently and subject matter expertise are very important in success of a blog as far as I believe. Ofcourse readability, fast page loads, no irritating ads all contribute. Sometimes I land by mistake on a page that's about nothing, just trying to sell you a book on how to become a millionaire...it's hilarious. Or it has lots of popups invading your screen with "congrats! You're the 9,999,... visitor!" Hate them. Nice you can write at work :) Yeah, I can’t stand those sites.
