PRO’s

  • George Wallace has great reviews, he’s called “the new Mr. Las Vegas” (Wayne Newton is the rightfull owner of this title)
  • He connects with the audience, interacts with everybody in a way or another
  • Picks on people from the audience, makes jokes about the places they’re from, and the jobs they do
  • Gives away surprise prizes to the people from the audience
  • Is good at “Yo mama jokes”. You might even hear some
  • He has a routine he does in every show: People Say Stupid Things. He is famous for the “I be thinking” jokes
  • The thing I found the most entertaining about his show was the opening group, called Mosaic (to be honest, I wish they’d sang all the 90 minutes)

CON’s

  • I saw his show, and… did not find it very funny. Would much rather have seen Dane Cook, Jeff Dunham or any other stand up comedien that actually makes me laugh hard
  • After reading a few reviews of his show online, written at very different times, it seems to me they’re describing the exact show I’ve seen, meaning he’s using mostly the same jokes and tricks all the time. For example, how he picks on people working at the airport, or many other of the jokes he makes
  • During the show, he makes people come on stage, and eventually gives them some prizes. One was a lady that was running late, and was a gospel singer. She seemed to be weird, but then she got on stage and sang really good. At the end she got $100. Well, after reading reviews, the lady was obviously part of the act, and she does that on most or all shows. I have real doubts if he’s really giving away stuff to people in the audience or it’s all just an act
  • He said he’ll be “giving away” t-shirts and autographs after the show, only to find out that he was charging $20 for a simple, white T
  • The tickets are very expensive and the show, for me, was not worth it. I don’t want to put down the man, by no means, maybe I caught him at a bad time, or he’s not my style. I’d just much rather see a more entertaining, colorful show, where I won’t get bored
